score

Score is open. Production-ready is a different conversation.

Building a Score implementation that meets enterprise security, compliance, and operational requirements takes more than the specification. This page is for organisations ready to have that conversation.

The gap

The Score format is free, open, and well-documented. Any organisation can read the specification, author skill files, and begin encoding their knowledge today.

Production infrastructure for a regulated enterprise requires considerably more. A governed approval workflow for skill authoring and versioning. An immutable audit trail of every execution event. Data residency controls for sensitive content. Integration with existing identity and access management systems. The operational discipline to keep the knowledge layer current as the organisation evolves.

Getting these right is an organisational and architectural challenge, and it requires senior expertise applied early rather than retrofitted later.

How we work

MultipleWorks built Maestro, the reference implementation of Score, for our own AI work. It runs the skills we define, enforces the permissions and constraints they carry, and keeps a full audit record of what was said and when. We operate it daily on real client engagements across financial services and professional services in Hong Kong and internationally.

Maestro is how we know the standard holds up in production: that a Score implementation can meet real security, audit and data-residency requirements rather than only describing them. It is proof of the method, not a product we sell.

What we bring to an enterprise is that experience. Every engagement begins with a structured advisory conversation to understand your context, your regulatory environment, and your existing infrastructure, then senior help architecting and governing your AI to the same bar.

Who this is for

This work is relevant to organisations operating in regulated industries where AI governance is subject to audit or regulatory scrutiny, those deploying AI across teams where knowledge consistency and version control are operationally significant, and any organisation handling content that cannot be processed by a third-party cloud provider and requires a verifiable record of what their AI was permitted to say.

The reference implementation

Maestro: the reference implementation.

Maestro is the reference implementation of Score, built and operated by MultipleWorks. It runs the skills we author, enforces the permissions and constraints they define, and maintains a full audit record of every interaction. We built it to prove that a governed Score deployment is achievable to a regulated standard, and we run it ourselves.

Crossing that same gap inside your organisation is advisory work, not a product purchase. If you are weighing a governed AI deployment, that is the conversation to have.
